9. Close and restart Internet Explorer.

Import the Company File

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.

2. Click the "Company" tab in the main menu and then select "Import QuickBooks Desktop Data" from the drop-down menu.

3. Go to the location of the company file you saved previous. Click to select the file and then click the "Open" button.

4. Follow the steps in the onscreen import interview window that launch automatically. During this process you will need to enter basic information about your company, such as contact information and bank details.

5. Wait for around 24 hours for QuickBooks to complete the import
